Registro/paisaje sonoro de la procesion de Santa Rosa, en un punto especifico de escucha y grabación.
El pausado caminar de la muchedumbre por una esquina del barrio de San Cristobal, nos cuenta sus pedidos, deseos, anhelos, duelos y pérdidas en un escenario, supuestamente, pospandemico.
La calle cortada, nadie se queja. Hay un momentaneo y efimero consenso de respeto o de afinidad ideologica. Pero la paciencia no es virtud citadina, por lo que poco a poco, sus maquinas-habitantes retoman su rutina, rompiendo gradualmente el tácito acuerdo entre lo ceremonial y lo cotidiano. El único acuerdo es la repetición, de autos, de plegarias, de bocinas y de fe.

El punto escucha una muchedumbre efimera que pasa. Otra mota de polvo acustico.

Sound recording/landscape of the Santa Rosa procession, at a specific listening and recording point.
The slow walking of the crowd in a corner of San Cristobal neighborhood, tells us their prayers, desires, longings, grief and losses in a hopeful post-pandemic scenario.
The street is blocked, no one complains. There is a momentary and ephemeral consensus of respect or ideological affinity.But patience is not a virtue in the city, so little by little, its machines-inhabitants resume their routine, gradually breaking the tacit agreement between the ceremonial and the everyday. The only agreement is repetition, of cars, of prayers, of horns and Faith.
