about

Dichosos i felices is a videopoem produced with Leonardo Cullari, Laura Morán and Luciano Piccili.

And the eye that sees, that always sees, goes back and forth, and records everything.
The archive is implacable as the time that crosses the bodies. Time-space dies in every second and does not return, the flesh disintegrates; the present, then, does not exist, we are only past.
Childhood that disintegrates, landscapes that are no longer there, the documentation of an Argentina that shines and shines, that only exists in memories, or perhaps, not even that. Images that no longer are, children who no longer live, who no longer play. Worlds, beliefs, that vanish in the promises of the future that was not.
The machine that won us over, the ideal of modernity that was imposed. First it was steam, and that sweeping train became a robot, the robot that today thinks for us, dreams for us and eats for us.
Children play happily and happily, they have fun next to a bank, the future seems assured, but it is only hunger and unemployment. Happiness as utopia.
The archive disintegrates, becomes ridiculous. The only thing that will last forever next to the ombú is the ball they play with, the ball that distracts and abstracts in all times. The superheroes never arrived, or maybe they are called barras bravas.
The past disintegrates in front of us, it laughs at us. The postmodernity that pulverized us, today we are not.
And the eye that sees, that always sees, goes back and forth, and registers everything.
