La recuperación de una memoria total, imparcial y completa, es la engañosa quimera de los moralistas. Toda memoria es una fragmentación que se redescubre y se repiensa colectivamente. Y la reconstrucción de ese paisaje temporal es una tenaz disputa entre quienes se disputan el poder del pasado y del presente.
“Hazte luz en la represa” es parte de una serie de exploraciones sobre la fragmentación, tanto del material como de la apropiación perceptual del mismo. En este caso, un archivo de audio fragmentado en treinta mil partes, va descubriendo su completitud a través del tiempo, para agenciar marcas y huellas en una temporalidad que poco a poco encuentra sentido a través de la maleza digital de glitches y samples.
Programado algorítmicamente e intervenido en tiempo real con una intención gestual y política, frente a la supuesta “neutralidad” de los algoritmos que nos rodean y construyen el pasado del mañana y la inmediatez del hoy de hoy.

The recovery of a total, impartial and complete memory is the deceptive chimera of the moralists. All memory is a fragmentation that is rediscovered and rethought collectively. And the reconstruction of that temporal landscape is a tenacious dispute between those who dispute the power of the past and the present.
"Hazte luz en la represa" is part of a series of explorations on fragmentation, both of the material and of the perceptual appropriation of it. In this case, an audio file fragmented in thirty thousand parts, is discovering its completeness through time, to agency marks and traces in a temporality that gradually finds meaning through the digital undergrowth of glitches and samples.
Algorithmically programmed and intervened in real time with a gestural and political intention, against the supposed "neutrality" of the algorithms that surround us and build the past of tomorrow and the immediacy of today.
